Course Description

Many medical professionals, PTs, and psychotherapists attempt to chase after the individual symptoms to little avail. In this workshop we will learn how to identify the underlying stress conditions that are often the root cause of these perplexing symptoms. Once we know how to identify these stress/trauma conditions, then we can more effectively treat them by utilizing special techniques to resolve the underlying autonomic dysregulation.

During this workshop, you will learn key concepts such as: autonomic imbalance, tuning, and kindling. You will have the ability to identify the syndromes of core dysregulation, understand their underlying dynamics, and how to work with them using Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory as a guide.

NOTE: In order to obtain the CEU certificate you’ll need to fill out an evaluation of the course and pass the quiz on the video content that will be revealed at the end of the video.
