Rachel Zoffness PhD is a pain psychologist, medical educator, consultant and author. She is a Visiting Professor at Stanford and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Medicine. Dr. Zoffness co-hosts the podcast “Pain Points” with ZDoggMD, and serves on the Board of Directors of USASP and the Society of Pediatric Pain Medicine. She is the author of The Pain Management Workbook, a treatment protocol for adults living with chronic pain; and The Chronic Pain and Illness Workbook for Teens, the first pain workbook for youth. She also writes the Psychology Today column “Pain, Explained.” Dr. Zoffness conducts workshops for multidisciplinary healthcare providers, and consults on the development of integrative pain programs around the world. She served on the AAPP board for 5 years, and is the founder of AAPP’s Pediatric Division.
