Rachel Zoffness PhD Dr. Rachel Zoffness is a global pain expert and educator. She is a pain psychologist, Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Medicine, ECHO faculty at Dartmouth, and completed a visiting professorship at Stanford. Dr. Zoffness is the Co-President of the American Association of Pain Psychology, where she founded the Pediatric Division, and serves on the board of the Society of Pediatric Pain Medicine. She is the author of The Pain Management Workbook and The Chronic Pain and Illness Workbook for Teens – the first pain workbook for youth. A columnist for Psychology Today, she also writes the column “Pain, Explained.” Dr. Zoffness is a Mayday Fellow, and consults on the development of pain education programs around the world.
